Why Coca-Cola?

Coca-Cola has become a soft-drink brand famous anywhere there is space to put up a billboard or set up cable.  The brand is offered and commercialized in 200 countries and I have always wondered how the business of the brand could invest about 150 million dollars yearly. The business, no doubt, is a strategic one.  Have you heard of the scandals coca-cola allegedly have brought on to make such a feet possible? I have, and I want answers.
When was the last time you were refreshed by Coke?
Have you been a victim to over-commercialization?

While coke is delicious, I try to only drink it on special occasions, because it is so bad for me and I also don't agree with a lot of the things that the coca-cola brand has done and tried to cover up. I do admit; however, that they are a very well-marketed brand, their commercials are very entertaining and theri billboards and ads are absolutely everywhere- I wonder if there is a person on this planet who does not know of at least one coca-cola product!
