The Eagle Drug and Chemical Company formulated the first rough product of famous soft drink brand. The chemical company is located Columbus, Georgia. The beverage was originally supposed to be a coca wine drink. This original formula was founded by John Pemberton who named the drink after himself as “Pemberton’s French Wine Cola.” Pemberton decided to create a non-alcoholic drink from the original idea of coca wine. The new beverage was first sold as a patent medicine which was somewhat accurate but Pemberton’s claims after this has minimal truth. Pemberton claimed that the beverage can cure addicts and a variety of other small sickness such as headache.
Pemberton gave the brand “Coca-Cola” to his son but other men were tried to create their own brands using the same formula. Candler, a manipulating business man took the formula and created his own company. He destroyed the original Coca-Cola Company and made a second one founded and owned by him.
